How Image Transformation Therapy Helps You Be Like the Superhero Deadpool

If you’re a fan of Marvel Comics superheroes and movies, you probably know who Deadpool is.  What you probably didn’t know is that you can have a superpower he doesn’t possess: the ability to heal your emotional traumas in an easy and direct manner.  Read on to find out how.

We All Could Be More Like Deadpool These Days

If you’re like any number of other people, you probably struggle with day to day stressors and other biggies thrown in.  Maybe Covid has thrown you off for the last 2 years or so, as well as some healthy political and social upheaval.  Maybe struggling with the climate crisis has been difficult as well and a lot of economic uncertainty, too.  Whatever it is, there’s plenty out there to get upset about.  Some people turn to addictions to self-medicate, but if you don’t take that route to cope you still have a lot to deal with.  In short, we all need the ability to be resilient, or to bounce back like Deadpool does.  Life simply requires that of most people these days.  Many people just don’t know how to do that.

What Image Transformation Therapy is and How It Helps You Be Like Deadpool

If you’ve watched the Deadpool movies you were probably struck by how quickly he was able to regenerate parts of his body that were injured or maimed by the villains he encountered.  Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT) is much like this in that all you have to be able to do is to breathe and visualize a color or substance that relates to the emotional upset you are dealing with.  Once you can do that, you are able to literally get out of your nervous system what has rocked your world, or whatever was previously bothering you.  It’s literally that simple.  

Deadpool and Resilience

The biggest thing about Deadpool, as I alluded to above, is how resilient he is.  Resilience is an innate human ability to bounce back from adversity that we all share.  Some of us need more help in being able to access it, however.  Once we do, we only need time for it to kick in.  It’s the same with Deadpool.  He didn’t grow back his limbs in an instant.  He needed some time at least.  With ImTT, you may start to feel better immediately, but it can take some time to recover from all the aspects of an emotionally jarring or traumatic experience.  But step by step you can make a full recovery.  There may still be scars, much like Deadpool had.  The thing about scars is they are stronger than the original skin they wind up replacing.  While you don’t necessarily get tougher from healing your emotional wounds, you can have more courage by not being as daunted by the difficulties you once may have been intimidated by in the past.

Deadpool and Healing

One of the things that’s been recently discovered is how we can heal our brains to much the same degree as the human body heals.  Deadpool’s limbs would grow back from small stumps or shoots.  The way the brain works if one part of the brain gets damaged, the nervous system shifts over to another part of the brain to take over the damaged part’s function in another part of it.  That quality is called neural plasticity, and it is how the brain heals differently from the body.  It still heals, however.  While ImTT doesn’t rely on this quality, it certainly helps allow you to make new neural connections to override your previously traumatic experiences.  

Deadpool Recovered Without Trying, But Emotional Healing Requires Effort
